My family just got back from a long-overdue vacation in Wisconsin, and we had a great time experiencing all the best things about the state: beer, boating, and beautiful lakes!

Whenever I'm in Wisconsin, I consider it my duty to try the cheese curds at every establishment we visit, so trust me when I say not every cheese curd is the same.

Some cheese curds have too much fried batter and not enough cheese, while others—the worst kind, in my opinion—have soggy batter surrounding a lukewarm ball of cheese. Full disclosure, I have not tried the cheese curds at Braywood for myself yet, but after seeing they use Spotted Cow in their batter, I'm sold 100 percent.
