When I was in junior high school, one of the most popular things to do on the weekend was go roller skating. I wasn't great, but good enough to get by. It was really the only place kids could go and just hang out for several hours without parents at night. Do you ever wonder what it would be like to go back to those days? Now is your chance.

Skate Night Chicago is taking over the Chicago Athletic Association starting Valentine’s Day weekend with themed skate nights like Emo Skate Night, 90s Throwbacks, Y2K Jams & more, plus throwback jams and nonstop vibes inside a historic downtown gym.

 

 

This has to be one of the funnest things happening this year over Valentine's Day weekend. Tickets are $43 per person and includes 2 hour skate party, roller skate rental, and a free drink. This is a 21 and over event. For ticket and party info, HERE.

Friday, February 13th:
- 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Day Time Disco
- 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Grrrl Power Party
- 9:00 PM - 11:00 PM:  Emo Skate Night

Saturday, February 14th - "Skate Thru The Decades"
- 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Licensed to Skate: 80s Day Party
- 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: 90s Throwbacks
- 9:00 PM - 11:00 PM: Y2K Jams
