Illinois Is Home To One Of The Top Holiday Light Displays In The United States

Nowadays, there are so many more places that put up amazing holiday light displays. Some of them you drink through, while others you walk. Some of the best are set up in gardens, forests, and parks. One particular place in Illinois, the Morton Arboretum, is actually considered one of the best in the entire United States.

Morton Arboretum is set to open its 2025 Tree Lights: Illumination On Nov. 15. The dazzling lights display, which features 20 immersive light shows, bonfires and more, has been ranked among the top lights displays in the country by USA Today.

This year, Tree Lights will illuminate the towering sculptures from the arboretum's Vivid Creatures exhibit, bringing an extra shine to the colorful squirrels, cranes, and dragonflies that reach up to 23 feet high.

Visitors can gather around bonfires, but can also enjoy new IllumiDomes (the transparent 13-foot domes that can seat up to 10 people).
