One thing I was never good at as a kid was spelling. I hated spelling bees because I would get knocked out early and had to sit around bored the rest of the time. I have a couple of friends who are obsessed with spelling. They watch the national spelling bee every year. This event would be perfect for them.

OnMilwaukee will once again host an adult spelling bee and is currently seeking 25 meticulous spellers to compete on stage.
Here are the details for the 5th annual adult spelling bee in Milwaukee...
- Friday, February 13th
- Doors open 6pm
- Spelling bee starts 7pm
- The Cooperage in Milwaukee (822 S. Water St.)
- 25 of the best adult spellers
- Adult beverages available for purchase
- Fans encouraged to come and cheer for their favorite
- 21 and over
- $30 per person includes Topo Chico from Molson-Coors, Potawatomi Casino and Hotel match play, and Outpost Natural Foods goodie bag
- Pre-register for your chance to participate
- Winner receives bragging rights, the coveted Bee bobblehead, and a prize pack from Yelp!
- Random audience members will be chosen to participate in warm up round spelling bee
