Throughout the state of Illinois, there are crime issues. When you're out and about, make sure that you are aware of your surroundings at all times. You never know when a thief is going to target you for a robbery.

Thieves in Illinois are always searching for the easiest target when looking out for robbery victims. It's a copycat professional. So when one mugger finds a sitting duck for a job and has a successful mission, other criminals are certainly going to follow.
There's a group of thieves in Illinois and Chicago, that are robbing their victims outside of bars. They are striking at closing time. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. The customers have at least a little buzz if not completely hammered. Not the best state of mind.

There's a bunch of people leaving the bar at the same time so it's pretty chaotic. They're really not paying attention. Plus, the victims are trying to track down their ride home with their nose in the phone. That's when the muggers strike.
Rideshare drivers are concerned that they could become a target at the same places and times. I hope people start paying more attention and we can nip this sort crime in the butt so it stops before it becomes a huge problem.
