When you get busted, there's a good chance you'll get out on bail, and a court date will be set for you. If you jump bail and skip court, then once again, you'll be on the run. Plus, you'll be in even more trouble with the law.
There was a man in DuPage County who had a warrant out for his arrest. The guy skipped court. Now, he better be careful, or the cops were going to catch him. It's not surprising that he screwed up and ended up back in jail.

Apparently, the suspect owned a dog that got loose. The police found the guy's pet and called him to let him know. When the fugitive showed up to pick up his dog, he was arrested for his warrant. Smooth move, Ace!
According to Patch in Illinois, "Police said the man came into the police station to claim a dog that officers found the previous day. He was found to have a DuPage County warrant charging failure to appear in court."
