Multiple Clogged Toilets Forces Airplane To Return To Illinois

Several passages on an airplane out of Illinois had their trips delayed because of a serious issue with the restrooms.

When traveling, flying will get you to your long distance destination so much faster. Some places, you're forced to take an airplane because it's impossible to get there by driving. It's a nice option to have.

Flight Returns To Illinois Because Of Clogged Toilets

Of course, being on an airplane isn't the most comfortable way to travel. Well, unless you're in first class, which isn't the way most of us fly. You're talking about tight quarters with not a lot of room to maneuver.

One of the worst things about flying is having to use the restroom. They're usually only located in the very front or back of the airplane. If a line starts, you're standing in the middle of the aisle. It's quite awkward. Plus, those rooms are so small.

There isn't much privacy with an airplane restroom. The other passengers can hear and smell what you're doing in there. I've been on a flight and someone totally stunk up the whole cabin from their time on the toilet.

Recently, a flight out of O'Hare had to return to Illinois because a problem with the restrooms. Eight out of the twelve toilets were clogged because of passengers flushing crazy things down them. I would've been mad if I was on that plane.

Some of the items found in the plumbing were polythene bags, rags, clothes, blankets, diapers, and more. What are people thinking?

According to NBC Chicago in Illinois, "An international flight out of Chicago was forced to return to O'Hare International Airport after several bathrooms on the plane became "unserviceable" mid-flight and an investigation later revealed the reason why."
