The police in Illinois were finally able to arrest a pair of serial ATM thieves after they had committed several robberies throughout the state.

I'll never understand why some of the residents from Illinois insist on breaking the law. I guess I have no desire to spend any time in jail. It just doesn't sound like a good time.  The risk is definitely not worth reward. For some people I suppose it is.

Apparently, criminals don't learn from other people's mistakes because they keep making the wrong moves. With all the technical upgrades in security systems, the majority of the suspects get busted. That just ruins your life.

Our latest dumb criminals committing stupid crimes in Illinois had the side hustle of stealing from ATM machines. Since there is so much cash involved, those things are loaded up with security. No way someone is getting away with robbing one.

I will give these guys credit because at least they didn't try the bonehead idea of stealing the whole ATM machine or physically trying to break into one for the money. These suspects used technology to hack into the money machine.

The pair used a false key to get into the machines. There was only one flaw in their plan? That was security cameras. Surveillance caught the thieves and their vehicle on video during a robbery. The police were able to track them down soon after to arrest them.

According to the Journal Star in Illinois, Marol Maglui Aguiar Rodriguez, 20, and Leandro Magdiel Bordones Villegas, 26, were each apprehended Saturday on charges of burglary, criminal damage to property, conspiracy to commit criminal damage to property and theft for their alleged role in hacking into ATMs across the state and country and withdrawing large amounts of money.
