Illinois, congratulations! Chicago proudly represents us on the “Worst Cities to Drive In” list, landing at a less-than-impressive #96 out of 100. Only four cities in the entire country performed worse, and they were places like New York and San Francisco, where honking is practically a language.

Now, before we get too smug up here in Rockford, let’s be honest. We may not have Chicago’s gridlock, but our drivers are a whole different kind of nightmare. Half the city treats stop signs like polite suggestions, the other half thinks “merge” means “floor it and pray.” If you’ve ever survived Spring Creek Road at rush hour, congratulations, you’ve basically earned a NASCAR license.
