I was wrong, like very wrong, as Elaine Perez-Pena, 35, can attest.
Woman Busted Smuggling Drugs Onto O'Hare Flight
That's because Perez was busted at O'Hare International Airport over the weekend trying to smuggle drugs onto her flight.

The drugs were hidden inside the cushions of her wheelchair and discovered by agents.

What tipped them off, you ask? Turns out Pena had a previous drug-related arrest at JFK Airport just a couple of years earlier, where she had been busted with 3 kilos of coke in her suitcase.
Federal Agents Waiting for Pena's Next Bad Decision
Needless to say, federal agents were waiting for her next slip-up.
Obviously, Pena didn't get the memo because drug-sniffing dogs confirmed there were drugs after an x-ray inspection showed some "unexpected density" in the cushions of the wheelchair.

A grand total of 14 kilos of cocaine were recovered from her wheelchair, totaling $238,000.
Where Was Pena Headed With The Cocaine?
Pena was busted during a layover at O'Hare. She was flying in from Sao Paolo, Brazi,l and heading to Newark, New Jersey.
I will never question why TSA needs to check a stroller ever again.
