Illinois Man Becomes Jeopardy! Game Show Champion
From the prairies of Illinois to the big stage, a Rockford native is crowned the Champion on the popular game show, Jeopardy!.
We have all played Jeopardy! from the comfort of our couches, eating a tv dinner, and screaming the wrong answers to the contestants. No pressure at all, right?
Now, imagine you're on the show with a full audience, competing under tons of pressure, lights, cameras, and little to no seconds to figure out the answer.
For one Rockford man, Lloyd Sy, his quick wit and knowledge landed him a spot on the famous game show that aired this week!
Lloyd is an Auburn High School graduate, currently earning his doctorate in English Literature at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.

Here are the stats from the episode: Lloyd answered 15 questions correctly, 3 incorrectly, and this is his first win.
Kudos to Lloyd, I know tons of people who would love to be on the show but wouldn't be fast enough for the buzzer, like myself!
