Wisconsin’s Must-See, Most Instagrammable, Light Show Closes This Weekend
This weekend is your last chance to check out something extraordinary in Wisconsin.
Don't miss out on this unique opportunity. The China Lights event, one of the most rad things you'll see any time of year, is getting ready to close, and this will be your last weekend to see it in person.
Experience Wisconsin’s Stunning Year of the Dragon Celebration
Located at Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners, the gardens celebrate the Year of the Dragon big time with more than "40 larger-than-life light displays," according to their website.
But that's not all. The China Lights event offers a variety of activities.
While checking out the lights, you can also walk through the amazing flower tunnel and the super cool zodiac lanterns.
Those are just two excellent highlights you'll see while you're there.
Enjoy Live Entertainment and Traditional Performances
Entertainment is set for this weekend, and three stage performances are scheduled.
Some acts include 'face changing,' where performers change masks in a split second, and 'foot juggling,' a unique form of juggling using the feet.
Satisfy Your Cravings with Tasty Food Options
If your stomach starts grumbling while you're at China Lights, you'll be glad to know they also have many great food options.
Food trucks serve sweet and sour chicken, lamb kebabs, and crab rangoon.
Others sell hot dogs and burgers that will satisfy even the fussiest eaters.
Plan Ahead: Tickets, Parking, and Bag Policy
China Lights has sold out on some weekends throughout its run at the Boerner Botanical Gardens, so I suggest you get your tickets for the year's final weekend as soon as possible.
Just a heads up, you will have to pay for parking, and they have a bag policy that restricts the size and type of bags you can bring. You can read their FAQ and order your tickets HERE.
