I came across an article of the dumbest states in America and quickly clicked in to see where the Land of 10,000 Lakes ranked. As usual, Minnesota stood out in the best way!

So, what is the dumbest state in the country and where exactly did Minnesota land? Spoiler alert, the brightest crayons in the box do NOT live in the South. Don't shoot the messenger.

To determine where the dumbest states are, RoadSnacks created an index of every state that combines the percentage of adults without a high school diploma with those without a college degree. They then ranked them.

In Alabama, school definitely isn’t cool. A whopping 1 in 20 people didn’t even make it to 9th grade, according to RoadSnacks.

Only 22% of Arkansas residents have a college degree and that 10% never finished high school, according to RoadSnacks.

RoadSnacks says that Mississippi has the highest number of high school dropouts in America at 11%.

And the dumbest state in the country is Nevada! Apparently, 14% of people never finished high school, and barely more than 1 in 5 was smart enough to go to college, according to RoadSnacks.
