Illinois Lottery Winner Finds Dream Home on HGTV

What would you do if you won the Illinois lottery? One long-time police officer in Chicago had to answer that question recently after she ended up with a winning ticket. Her decision was to let HGTV help her find her dream home.

This new episode of HGTV's My Lottery Dream Home featured Sharon who has been a police officer in Chicago for 34 years. After decades of service, she was rewarded when a lottery ticket in Illinois paid her more than $120,000. She wanted to find a home in Crete, Illinois which is in the southern part of the Chicagoland area. She had a budget between $300,000 and $350,000 which HGTV's host was able to help her with.

All's well that ends well and it's satisfying to see someone who has served her community like Sharon has for 34 years find a really nice place to live. That's likely why HGTV decided to lend her a hand in finding the best home of her life.
