4th Most Popular Fast Food Brand Only Has 23 Illinois Locations
I love this brand, but I can't remember ever going in one of their locations. Maybe this is the reason. It's the 4th most popular fast food brand in America, but there are only 23 Illinois locations.
Eat This Not That just shared this new ranking of the most popular fast food restaurants in America and I was genuinely surprised at one of the top 5 not because it's not an excellent choice, but I just rarely every see one.
What's the 4th most popular fast food brand in America?
Answer - Cinnabon
According to the official Cinnabon site, there are only 23 locations in the cinnamon roll-loving state of Illinois:
- Alorton
- Alsip
- Aurora
- Carol Stream
- Chicago
- Fairview Heights
- Gurnee
- Joliet
- Lombard
- Minooka
- Morris
- Norridge
- North Riverside
- Oakwood
- Orland Park
- Pontoon Beach
- Rockford
- Rosemont
- Schaumburg
- Skokie
- Vernon Hills
The reason I find this odd is the Midwest (including Illinois) is well known for loving cinnamon rolls and chili. If you're not from Illinois or any other part of the Midwest, you no doubt would find that an odd choice, but it really is a local favorite.
It appears that Illinois is one of the top 10 states for Cinnabon as only New York state, Colorado and a handful of others have more locations. Still, for the 4th most popular fast food brand, you'd think there's be more than a couple dozen places in the state of Illinois.
