Illinois Soon to Be a Part of PC Truck Driving Game

I've driven around and across Illinois much of my adult life, but some people haven't. Everyone will have a chance soon no matter where they live as Illinois will soon be a part of a PC truck driving simulator video game and there is a video and screenshots to show what it will look like.

American Truck Simulator from SCS Software just shared a video preview along with their official announcement that Illinois will soon be added to the game.

There's no firm release date for Illinois in American Truck Simulator yet, but generally speaking it seems they take one to two months after a state is announced before it's officially available for download. It should be fun to see how close their representation of Illinois is to reality. I've been impressed with how they capture the vibe and atmosphere of states in the game. They do landmarks well and Illinois should be no different.
