One Click College Admission in Illinois is Now a Thing

One Click College Admission plan is to be more user friendly and streamline admission

Illinois takes a step to keep college students in state
Have a GPA that gets the job done? You’re in. Just like that. No letters of recommendation, no application fees, no essays. Just a black and white GPA. The rub as of now, this doesn’t apply to all state schools in Illinois.

So far, nine state universities are signed on to the “One Click College Admit” program: Eastern Illinois, Illinois State, Western Illinois, SIU-Carbondale/SIU Edwardsville, U of I Springfield, Chicago State, Governors State, Northern Illinois and Northeastern Illinois.

The “One Click” program has nothing to do with FAFSA or financial aid. As an incoming student you will still have to navigate those waters. “One Click” is just designed to streamline approval to specific state colleges within the state of Illinois.
