So, now that we know it's good for you which state gives out the most sunlight Missouri or Illinois? Well, if you said Missouri you're right.

Stacker puts Missouri at #18 out of all 50 states being the sunniest state in the Nation. On average you can see annual sunlight in Missouri at 4,545 kJ/m² (kilojoules per square meter). Well, it's not too far behind Missouri. Illinois ranks 23 out of 50 for sunniest states. With an average annual sunlight of 4,380 kJ/m², it's grown more in a change of sunlight. Since 1992 Illinois has grown by 16.80%.

The top three sunniest states are Nevada (3), New Mexico (2), and Arizona (1).
