HGTV Names Missouri Town the Best in the Nation for the Holidays
HGTV knows a little something about homes so when they created a list of the best towns in the nation for Christmas I was happy to see this Missouri town make the list.
Welcome to St. Charles, Missouri
It's one of my favorite places to visit all year long, but especially from October through December. Always decorated, always fun to visit and shop, and it's like you step back in time walking and driving on the old bricks. HGTV says,
St. Charles' Main Street is transformed from a picturesque small town into a holiday wonderland, with thousands of twinkling lights and festive decorations. Visitors can enjoy the St. Charles Christmas Traditions festival, which includes carolers, holiday characters and horse-drawn carriage rides.
Grab a hot chocolate, take a stroll in a horse-drawn carriage, and just sit and relax as you take in the sights and sounds of what St. Charles offers. It is a magical place this time of you. The shops that line up Downtown St. Charles are in the original buildings from when the town was first discovered. Like I said, you go back in time when you visit St. Charles.
If you're not into the Christmas spirit yet you will be after to visit St. Charles.
