It never ceases to amaze me how massive buildings with machinery can be left abandoned and unused.

I don't know if it's disappointing or annoying, but it's hard to imagine such expensive material being wasted away in these abandoned places. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Sadly, Illinois has its fair share of abandoned buildings. And this time, I found a video of Decaying Midwest exploring an abandoned power plant here in our state.

Believe me when I tell you, I cannot believe the amount of stuff that was left in this building. And not just little trinkets and junk, I mean big machinery!

This is probably one of my favorite TikTok accounts to follow because of the places they explore. If you're into seeing abandoned millionaires' homes, banks, schools, malls or even churches, I definitely recommend checking them out.

Now... take a look at this place! Here's what the outside looks like.

This place still, to me, looks in pretty decent condition. I hope that it can get put to use again eventually. I'm not for sure where this place is located or when it was shut down. If I were to make a guess, it probably wasn't that long ago.

I don't even want to know how much all that machinery costs just to be left there like that. Again, I'd say (I'm no expert) that it still looks good enough to use.
