A Byron family is feeling the sting today after finding out their "honor system" failed them.

According to the JK and Ace Garden and Farm Facebook page, an unidentified man allegedly stole "more than $200 worth of eggs, produce, meat, canned goods, and cash" from the family's sale barn.

The family normally leaves their barn door open because they "believe in the honor system" but are now forced to keep it locked.

At the moment, the post has been shared over 100 times, however, a new Facebook video has surfaced showing the suspect a bit clearer.

Tim Pyatt on Facebook says "if anybody knows this man, tell him he is stealing from a lovely family that doesn't deserve this type of treatment."

Meanwhile, the owners at JK and Ace Garden and Farm are hopeful the man "sees what he is doing is wrong."
