Former Rockford News Anchor Caught in Milwaukee Crossfire

Ben Hutchison worked in Rockford a few years ago. On Saturday night he was in the middle of a scary scene in Milwaukee.

Hutchison joined WISN in Milwaukee in November of 2013 after spending a few years at WTVO in Rockford.

After an officer involved shooting drew protests that soon turned violent, Hutchison and what I presume to be a cameraman found themselves caught in the middle of a dangerous situation.

After getting sideswiped, the situation got even more out of hand.

A scary situation got even more tense for Hutchison.

Hutchison managed to escape the violent scene unscathed but surely shaken.

Since the events on Saturday night, a citywide curfew has been instituted. According to Reuters, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett said "that nightly curfews on teenagers would remain in place 'for as long as necessary.'"
