There's just something about the first day of fall I guess, bring it on maroon.

The humidity finally left the Stateline this week and it not only made my hair look and feel better, but it brought out the maroons.

Not Adam Levine or any other members of Maroon 5 that no one knows the name of... but the color maroon.

Some may call it burgundy, wine, a shade of redish purple, whatever you want to call it. I bet you wore it.

I woke up Wednesday morning tying to decide what to put on and settled on a yellow skirt. I didn't want to look like a bumble bee, so I paired it with a maroon tank top and BAM it started.

Everywhere I looked the color was front and center.

From pants to dresses to actually men wearing the same color sweatshirts, maroon had taken over the universe.

In fact as I type this a woman at work just came over and said, "I wore this dress today because I heard I missed out on the wine colored day on Wednesday.'

Did you wear maroon this week? How many maroon things do you own?

How long does maroon week last? Should we just keep wearing this color until it snows? Honestly I just got my nails done last night and I did them in maroon so I guess I'm stuck with this for at least a week and a half and fingers crossed long than this.
