As anyone who listens to the Riley and Scot Show knows, we are big fans and admirers of first responders. Those men and women who run (or, in this case, fly) toward dangerous situations, no matter the time, day, or weather, deserve our endless respect and support.

You'd have nothing but agreement from the 75 or so people who found themselves stuck on gondolas at Canadian ski resort Kicking Horse Mountain in British Columbia a couple of days ago. A transformer blew out at the resort, causing the gondolas to stop in place, high above the ground.

Enter KHMR rescue team, via helicopter. Calm, friendly, reassuring, and ready to save the day. The coolest part is the footage captured by one person being rescued, who just happened to have a GoPro camera rolling during the experience.
