You’ll Be Surprised To Find Out What State Talks The Fastest

Spoiler: It's not New York.

Or Illinois. In fact we are way low on this list, number 40! This super surprised me because I talk faster than almost everyone I know.

Both New York and Illinois are listed as two of the slowest talking states in the nation.

What took the top spot? Oregon. That's Portland right? I don't know anyone from Portland to call and test this theory out, but if you do, please let me know!

Now, while people from Illinois and New York don't talk faster than other people, they do talk more than everyone else, and surprisingly those of us from Illinois are the least impatient.
