So many things in life come with the question, "But, what's the catch?" A Tucson, Arizona man probably should have asked that when he saw a sign offering a "free puppy."

We've long been fans of the great work done by Winnebago County Animal Services (WCAS), especially their pet adoption services. So many dogs, cats, and assorted other animals owe their very lives to the second chance that they were given by the dedicated staff at WCAS. Plus, WCAS makes it really easy to adopt a pet for your home (click here to view their adoption process). As the owners of 2 adopted pets, I can attest to the fantastic job WCAS does, and no, I don't get a free puppy for telling you that.

Speaking of free "puppies," let's get back to the guy in Tucson. Now, I don't know if the Tucson area has anything like Winnebago County Animal Services, but if they do, I'm sure that he's planning on going there next time.

So, the guy sees the sign for the free puppy, contacts the person making the offer, and falls in love immediately with this amber-eyed beauty. He takes the "dog" home, names him Neon, and then...the weirdness begins:

I don't know...I might have kept him through Halloween. The looks on the faces of trick-or-treaters would be absolutely priceless.
