Hey Disney World. Go kick rocks. Chicago is home to one of the happiest places on earth.

Of course if you have ever been to Wrigley Field you probably already knew this. The enjoyment level of a trip to The Friendly Confines is rarely dependent upon the performance on the field. You really have to try to have a bad time at Wrigley.

I'm not sure what (if any) science went into ranking the 16 happiest places in the world but CNN decided to bestow one of the two U.S. spots to the home of the Cubs. The other went to Moonlite Bar-B-Q in Owensboro, Kentucky, which is probably the first time someone described being in Kentucky as a happy experience.

If you haven't been to Wrigley in awhile you need to make a trip. Sure the tickets are a little harder to get now that the Cubs are the best team in baseball but there aren't many better places in the world than weekday game in the sun watching the Cubs. If you run into me I'll even buy you an Old Style.
