KB Toys (also known as Kay Bee Toys) is planning a comeback after Toys R' Us announced they were going out of business.

When I was a kid, my Mom would drag me to the mall to go shopping. The only payoff was she would let me walk around Kay Bee Toys. If I was really good, I would get to pick out something to buy.

It was sad to see it close down. It left most malls without a dedicated toy store.

It breaks my heart to hear Toys R' Us is going out of business.

I have such great memories spending time in toy stores like them. Going up and down the aisles trying to figure out what I was going to include on my Christmas list to Santa.

There is some good news.

I recently read that KB Toys is going to attempt a comeback.

According to technobuffalo.com,

"Startegic Marks, LLC, the current owners of the Kay Bee Toys brand, has announced that the toy retailer is preparing to return."

There is no timetable for the return, but they are looking to be back for the holidays.

They are currently researching how to bring back the brand to compete against online retailers and not make the same mistakes as before.

Hopefully, we will see KB Toys in CherryVale Mall sooner than later. I would definitely spend some time checking it out.
