What’s Happening At Rockford City Market?

The Rockford City Market takes place every Friday from 3:30 until 8:30 every Friday until September 30. Here's what's happening this week. 

• FOOD

Vintage @ 501, Woodfire Brick Oven Pizza and Bamboo are the featured restaurants this week at City Market. Families can easily taste food from any of these places and maybe find a new favorite spot.

• CRAFTS

Unique goods from Minglewood, Olive Oil Experience and Rockford Art Deli will be showcased this week. Each will have their own booth and will be selling their wares.

• KIDS' ACTIVITIES

Rockford Lutheran will be doing free face painting. Students from the Rock River Off Season Competition, a robotics group, will be showing off their competition robots and teaching about how they work.

• MERCYHEALTH BOOTH

The Cardiac Cath Lab will be promoting heart health and signs and symptoms of heart attacks. The Cardiac Cath Lab is a department that does a multitude of different heart procedures.

The weather is getting nice and I can personally vouch for how nice and relaxing an evening at "The Mart" can be.
