For the last week, it's seemingly been non-stop snow stories. Not around here so much, but the east coast of the U.S. has really been getting hammered with it. Predictions of 3 feet or more of snow didn't come true for New York, but Boston and other nearby areas got a pretty large amount.

Living in this part of the world, we might not like it, but we're used to snow. Some of us have commented, particularly after shoveling out a driveway or digging out our cars, that we'd be fine if we never saw snow again.

What about those who've never seen it before? I mean, sure, they've seen photos, and they've seen movies, but they've never been immersed in it.

Gosh, I wonder what that must be like...

To be fair to the Aussies, there are probably plenty of Americans who've never seen an ocean in person. Or, been attacked by a shark. Or, sadly, never thrown a shrimp on the barbie.
