US 20 / I-39 Road Construction Major Headaches Start Today

Good Monday morning motorists. If you travel on I-39 and US 20, get ready to adjust your travel for next couple of months.

If you have traveled on I-39 or on US 20 you may have seen the signs warning us about the upcoming road construction, well it all starts today. Here's where you'll find the road closures and detours.

WIFR-TV is reporting that the road closures will last for the next couple of months.

1. The I-39 ramp to US 20 (eastbound) will close. This closure will last about two months due to construction of the bridges over Linden Rd. Motorists will be forced to travel west on US 20, then turnaround at Rt. 251.

2. Motorists traveling westbound on US 20 exit to Alpine Rd will not be able exit on the off ramp. Construction on the Alpine exit ramp is expected to last about a month/
