UPS is Looking to Hire 1,300 People From the Rockford Area

With the busy time of the holidays bearing down on us, UPS is in need of Rockford area people for their seasonal rush.

Plus, as an added benefit, not all the jobs are seasonal--some people will wind up with permanent gigs at UPS's Rockford air hub at the Chicago Rockford International Airport.

Right now, UPS is looking for:

• 1,300 package handlers
• 30 driver-helpers
• 15 delivery and tractor-trailer drivers

According to My Stateline, in the last three years 35% of seasonal workers stayed on permanently.
