Up For Some Winter Golf? Head For Elliot Golf Course Through Friday

If you're one of the many who received new golf equipment of some sort for Christmas, you're probably jonesing for the chance to get out and test that stuff out. The Rockford Park District's Elliot Golf Course is ready and waiting for you right now.

Due to this spate of unseasonably warm weather, The Rockford Park District has listened to the pleas from our area's many golfers who want to play. Now.

Here's the note from our good friend Laura Gibbs-Green of the Rockford Park District:

‘Tis the season to golf! This certainly isn’t something that happens every year but this year area golfers have a rare chance to enjoy playing on a Rockford Park District course in February. Weather permitting, Elliot Golf Course, 888 South Lyford Road, Cherry Valley, will be open Tuesday, February 21, 2017 through Friday, February 24, 20157 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
