This Tasty Treat Is Made In Illinois

I was so excited to find out this kind of candy is made in our state.

I'm a total hometown guy.

That means supporting local businesses, teams, products, and etc.

I got so excited when I found out one of my favorite candies is made in Illinois.

Skittles are produced in a factory located in Yorkville.

According to chicagotribune.com,

"Production of Skittles expanded to a Yorkville plant operated by Chicago-based Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. in 2016. Skittles, which were previously made solely in Waco, Texas."

There are other types of candy made in Yorkville including Life Savers, Doublemint, and Juicy Fruit.
