Maybe you're new to Illinois, or like me, you're a life-long resident. Whatever your status, long-term, mid-length, or newbie, you can test your overall knowledge of our state with a new quiz from Buzzfeed (hat tip to alert listener Mark for sending me the link this morning).

Let's take a look at a few of the questions from a piece entitled "Only Someone Who's Really From Illinois Can Pass this Trivia Test:"

Question #1 is: "What is this building, according to Chicagoans?"

a) Willis Tower

b) Sears Tower

The answer, according to the Buzzfeed quiz is:

Though its official name is now the Willis Tower, we’ll always call it the Sears Tower. ALWAYS.

Question #2 is: "Which of the following movies was NOT actually filmed in Illinois?"

a) Ferris Bueller's Day Off

b) Wayne's World

c) Home Alone

d) The Blue Brothers

If you guessed Wayne's World, you would be right.

Though the film is set in Aurora, Illinois, no parts of the film were actually shot there.

Question #3: "For Which Holiday do Illinoisans actually get the day off from work and/or school?"

a) Groundhog Day

b) Flag Day

c) Lincoln's Birthday

d) Casimir Pulaski Day

Of course, "D" is the correct answer. Casimir Pulaski Day usually happens on the first Monday of March, but, depending on the amount of snow days used, school is sometimes still in session.

Here's one more for you:

Got it figured out? If your guess was Culver's, you nailed it.

Though there are quite a few locations in Illinois, the first Culver’s opened in Sauk City, Wisconsin, in 1984.
