Dog food manufacturer JM Smucker is recalling four brands of dog food because they might be tainted with Pentobarbital, the drug used to euthanize dogs.

Your first reaction is probably "why is Pentobarbital anywhere near the production of dog food?" That would be a good reaction. I can't help you with that. It makes no sense. JM Smucker is blaming it on one single supplier, but that doesn't really answer any questions.

The voluntary recall includes the brands Gravy Train, Kibbles 'n Bits, 'Ol Roy and Skippy canned dog food.

If you have any of these dog foods you should call the number on the package. They will help you get a refund or replacement product.
