The Story Behind This Rockford Wedding Photo Will Surprise You

A heart warming wedding photo taken on Water Street in Rockford is going viral.

The photo posted on Saturday by Joe Logli features John Horton, who was in the middle of a wedding day photo shoot, shaking hands with a homeless man.

Horton, who made headlines when he was released from prison after serving 23 years for a crime he says he didn't commit, was enjoying the photos when he saw the man.

Logli says on Facebook, "John, stops the photo shoot, walks over, shakes the man's hand, thanks him, and sends him off with, what was possibly, the most sincere, 'God Bless You,' that I've ever heard. All anyone could do was just stand there, and watch."

The photo was captured by Jodi Jones who said on Facebook, "So true! One of my favorites from the day!"
