This morning, Leah Tuneberg, Executive Director of Rockford's River District, stopped by the WROK Morning Show to fill us in on what promises to be yet another outstanding downtown event.
Maybe it's just me, but if presented with the choice between some turtle doves, french hens, and geese-a-laying--or, some great drinks, food, and the chance to visit some watering holes I've not visited before, I'm going to take Option B.
By now you may have heard that Rockford's Stroll on State, held on November 26th in downtown Rockford, set a new attendance record of 75,000 people. That's almost 10,000 more people enjoying the night than did last year.
With Stroll on State having taken place a couple of weeks back, the Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (RACVB) would love to know what you thought of the 4th annual event. And, while you're at it, when was the last time you headed for downtown Rockford to do some shopping?
