The Land of Lincoln plays host to some of the more offbeat festivals in the Midwest. For example, we have the Turkey Testicle Festival in Byron, the International Horseradish Festival in Collinsville, the Popeye Picnic in Chester, and the Superman Celebration in Metropolis. Next month, Lombard will have one that makes the others seem pedestrian.
