So, my family gave me a drone for Father's Day. If you've been wanting one, I've gotta tell you, they are every bit as fun as you might think. We've caught fireworks from 400 feet, checked out our neighborhood from above, and of course, taken a bunch of birds-eye view photos of our house. Over the weekend, we brought it to the radio station.

Despite a truckload of hints dropped on my family, I'm still waiting for that Christmas/birthday/anniversary/Father's Day/pick an occasion gift of a drone. So, I'm forced to live vicariously through others here in Rockford who have theirs up in the sky and are taking awesome footage of the Forest City.

Thanks to someone and their drone camera, we can now see inside something we drive past often but have never seen. You won't believe it.
