Someone in Rockton wanted to celebrate 'Star Wars Day' in big way Thursday and someone was able to snap a pic.

First of all, how did Star Wars Day (a.k.a. 'May the 4th be with you') start? Maybe asking when would be a better question because we all know it clearly involve the most popular sci-fi movies ever.

According to StarWars.com,

Ultimately, as Star Wars Day was created by the fans, it is truly their day. Hosting movie marathons, sharing greetings on social media, cooking Star Wars recipes -- there are no wrong ways to celebrate May the 4th, and each year we're amazed at the creative ways that fans mark the occasion. With Star Wars alive like never before, we hope you'll join in this year.

Students at Rockton Elementary School were welcomed to class with by a special visitor on May 4th, the day Star Wars fans spend greeting others with "May the fourth be with you."

When I was a kid we had bad Ronald McDonald impersonators at assemblies. I'm definitely jealous of these kids. There's no confirmation on the person at Rockton Elementary that donned the best Chewbacca costume ever, but I'm glad they did. May the fourth be with them, and you, too.
