Get your inner Jedi together and enjoy some world class music at the Coronado this weekend.

The Rockford Symphony Orchestra welcomes the 501st Midwest Garrison to Star Wars & More-The Music of John Williams on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at the Coronado Performing Arts Center. Over 15 costumed Star Wars characters and mobile droids will be featured at the Saturday night concert for photo ops. In addition, Harry Potter and Jurrasic Park customers will also make an appearance.

John Williams celebrates a career spanning over six decades. He has composed some of the most popular and recognizable film scores in cinematic history and many of the highest-grossing films of all time, including Jaws, the Star Wars series, Superman, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, the Indiana Jones series, Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, the first two Home Alone movies, and the first three Harry Potter films.  This will be the third time the RSO has performed the music of John Williams the most recent being January of 2015 to a sell-out crowd.

This has been a wildly successful event in the past and this looks to be just as awesome.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at the website www.rockfordsymphony.com.

Tickets for adults range in price from $25-$65 and student tickets are $9 for those 25 and under.

Get out this weekend and enjoy some culture!
