See What Happens When a TV Reporter at Portillo’s Tries to Put Ketchup on a Hot Dog [VIDEO]

Confession. No, let's make that three confessions: I've never been to Portillo's, I've never had a Chicago style hot dog, and lastly, I am a firm believer that ketchup goes on a hot dog. My boyfriend and I actually got into a debate about this yesterday; he says ketchup isn't allowed, I say it's mandatory. I thought he was going to break up with me. Seriously, what do you guys have against ketchup?

It's obviously not a Minnesota thing (we actually do put ketchup on pretty much everything; even steak), because a reporter from Fox 13 News in Tampa Bay, Florida paid a visit to the brand new Portillo's and when he tried to add the ketchup, everyone in the room freaked.

Now, I may have never had a Chicago style hot dog before but wasn't something missing? Where are the poppy seed buns?
