Former Hononegah High School wrestler and reality television show winner Corey Anderson will return to the UFC octagon Dec. 6 in Las Vegas.

Anderson (5-0), whose hometown is listed as Rockford on the UFC website, will face Gian Villante (12-5) at UFC 181.

After making his way to the finals of "The Ultimate Fighter" reality television show, Anderson needed only 61 seconds to defeat Matt Van Buren (7-3) to come out on top as the season's light heavyweight winner. Those who win the show get a contract with the mixed martial arts organization.

Anderson is a graduate of Hononegah High School. He also has a business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

UFC 181 is scheduled to be a pay-per-view event headlined by a middleweight title bout between champion Chris Weidman (12-0) and Vitor Belfort (24-10). Some bouts on the undercard are typically shown on Fox Sports 1.
