Rockford’s Average Gas Price Dips Below $2

You can definitely add cheap gas as a benefit to living in the Stateline. 

According to Gasbuddy.com gas in the Stateline fell more than three cents over the past week to $1.99. This is while the national average rose a penny up to $2.24 a gallon.

The Stateline's average of $1.99 is significantly lower, by about 30 cents, than last month and has fallen more than 50 cents over the past year.
