Rockford Police are looking for suspects after a shooting on the city's southwest side left two people injured.

According to a press release, officers were called Thursday afternoon to respond for a report of shots fired in the 1400 block of Montague. Upon arrival, a 42-year-old female gunshot victim was discovered with non-life-threatening injuries.

While officers were investigating the incident another gunshot victim arrived at a local area hospital. The 22-year-old female's injuries also were non-life-threatening. Officers determined this victim had also been struck while she was in the area of 1400 Montague.

Witnesses tell police they saw a white car that may have been involved in the incident, driving west on Montague St. and then stop at the northwest corner of Central Avenue and Montague.
