A Rockford business owner has started a campaign to get the money needed for dash cams in Rockford Police Department squad cars. Zach Meiborg, owner of Meiborg Brothers Trucking, was a friend of Officer Jaimie Cox and it saddened by Cox's death but excited to be able to help get RPD squads cars needed dash cams.

According to Eyewitness News, Zach Meiborg started the campaign to raise funds that will go to Rockford Police Department towards the cost of getting dash cams in all squad cars. All donations will go to the RPD through Crimestoppers, so there's no need to worry about where funds will go.

Donations must be made with a check and "Dash Cam Fundraiser" must be written on the memo line. Those checks can be sent to:
