We've gotten a few inches of snow around the Rockford area today, prompting one of our co-workers to exclaim upon arrival this morning "It's like a Snowmageddon out there!" Granted, we haven't gotten much snowpack this season, so any amount is noticeable, but if you want to see true blizzard conditions, you'll need to look elsewhere.

Okay, looking over some Wisconsin snowfall totals, the Twitter user above probably got somewhere around 6-8 inches at the most. It's been my experience that seasoned Wisconsin winter survivors don't even raise an eyebrow until they're looking at a foot of snow on their driveways. Even then, they've seen worse.

Sure, you might have to do some scraping and shoveling today, but we're not dealing with a snow "event" like some of the following videos show:
