On Thursday morning Congressman Randy Hultgren (IL-14) joined "Riley & Scot" to talk about the security concerns surrounding healthcare.gov and what we should know about the unaccountable Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.  As the interview progressed, we also saw Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announce he would hold his vote today to detonate the "nuclear option." Via the magic of live radio, we were able to ask the Congressman on the spot to respond to the news. He said:

This is just so frustrating.  They have so much power here already and to change something that has been such a strong part of how the Senate runs and Senate functions in bringing people together...every single state being able to have a voice there.  For Harry Reid to be changing that I think is really wrong...one more thing of them pushing to be less accountable to the voters.
