A couple is suing their deadbeat son because he won't move out of their house.

There's a family that lives on my block here in Rockford.

It's a nice older couple but with a rather weird situation.

Their adult son still lives with them and has no intentions of moving out anytime soon.

He has a part-time job that he works only a limited number of hours each week.

Much of his time is spent playing video games all night and sleeping all day.

His parents have tried to get him to go out on his own but it just hasn't worked out.

There might be some hope for this issue in the future.

According to nypost.com,

"A fed-up upstate couple is giving her unemployed 30-year-old son, who still lives at home, a dose of tough love by suing him to have him evicted."

Yes, you read that correctly. These parents are suing their adult deadbeat son to get him out of their house.

Think about the impact this could have in the future on families.

If this mother and father win their case, parents across the country are going to be taking their adult kids to court.

Future lawyers might want to focus on family law.
